Membership Information

 

Los Caballeros Jugadores membership consists of no more than 72 members.  Any member can nominate a candidate for membership.  The candidate must belong to a private club in San Diego County, know several members, fit in with the membership, and have a history of community involvement. 

 

Since our goal is to promote fellowship among the members from all the clubs, the pairings for each format will be designed with that in mind.  An effort will be made to pair each member with members from different clubs, and with a member other than the one with whom he was paired in the previous tournament.  The total handicap of members in each foursome will be as equitable as possible. 

 

Members must reserve a place at each event in advance of the event date.  This is required to secure tee times, to provide the club with an accurate dinner headcount, and to create equitable pairings.  No shows and late cancellations will be charged no show fees that are billed to Los Caballeros.

An annual membership fee must be paid before the first event.  Green fees and meal costs will be billed to each participant.  The preferred billing is through the inter-club billing system; however, some clubs may require onsite credit card payment.

It is requested that you make every effort to arrange your schedule to play your home club to meet contractual arrangement with the host clubs.
